Payless Opened A Fake Luxury Store Where People Paid Hundreds For $20 Shoes

How much would you pay for $20 shoes? Some people would pay an arm and a leg as long as they had the right brand name!

Payless put this theory to the test by opening up a luxury store in Los Angeles filled with their shoes.

And people paid a crap-ton of money for them.

They took over a former Armani store and renamed it Palessi. (Fancy AF) Then they invited groups of influencers to the grand opening!

You gotta check out this footage:

"Super classy" and "made with high-quality material." THAT'S how you do marketing! Way to go, Payless! I'm even tempted to hit the mall...

There's even a fake web page for the store!

Pure genius.
