Jell-O Play Has New Edible Slime

Slime is huge with kids these days, but because it’s usually made with white school glue and Borax, or similar ingredients, little ones can’t eat it, no matter how appealing it looks.  But that’s all about to change with new JELL-O PLAY Edible Slime.  It’s available for pre-order on Amazon and will be available in December, just in time for the holidays.

The JELL-O PLAY line is a kid-centric collection that came out last summer and basically encourages kids to play with their food.  Their Edible Slime comes as a powdered mix in a canister and once you add some warm water to a few scoops and stir for 30 seconds, it becomes slime you can squish, squash, pull, and play with any way you would with traditional slime.  The only difference is that this stuff is made with ingredients that are safe to eat, like modified food starch, sugar, and gelatin.

There are two varieties currently available to pre-order: Unicorn Slime, which is pink and flavored with strawberry, and Monster Slime, which is green and tastes like lime.  Each can makes two batches of slime and costs $10 on Amazon.
